Generous Gift

Thanks to the Witmer Group for thier generous donation to the Lancaster Counnty Public Safety Training Center Foundation of a Husqvarna K760 rotory saw. This saw will be stored with the portable forcible entry trailer the foundation purchased earlier this year. With the addition of this saw fire service personnel will be able to practice thier forcible entry skills such as cutting security bars (rebar) and pad locks at their stations. LCPSTC would like to thank the Witmer Group for their donation to the Public Safety Servents of Lancaster County.

Fire Ground Tactics

Chief John Norman (retired FDNY) literally wrote the book on Fire Ground Tactics. LCPSTC Foundation recently (12/8/19) brought Chief Norman to the training center to make a presentation on Fire Ground Tactics to Lancaster County Departments. This training was well attended with at sell out crowd of 116 participants.

PA First!!

Lancaster County Public Safety Center in conjunction with PA State Fire Academy has successfully become the first certification test site to offer Driver/Operator Tractor Drawn Aerial (TDA) national certification testing!! LCPSTC staff has put in a tramendous amount of time in planning, coordinating, and hosting the two pilot test that needed to be completed by the State in order for them to bring this certification level to the Commonwealth. LCPSTC is proud that we could be a part of it and we continue to update our training oppurtunities to insure that Lancaster County public safety responders are among the most well trained and well equipped to meet the needs of the public we serve!

Forcible Entry Trailer

In a partnership with Lancaster County Fireman's Association, Lancaster County Fire Chiefs Association, and Lancaster County Public Safety Training Center Foundation we are able to offer portable forcible entry training to all Lancaster County Public Safety Departments. We anticipate this unit to be fully equiped and placed in service in the beginning of 2019. Please contact LCPSTC Fire Service Coordinator Ken Weber for more details or to reserve this unit to meet your local level training needs!!
